As parents, we all want our kids to be healthy and happy. We want them to have the best chances in life, and helping them to develop good eating habits is a great gift to give them for later in life. For growing kids, the food they eat every day directly affects their moods, energy levels and much of their health. The earlier they get into the habit of eating well, the better for them and, consequently, us.
This is one of our favorite fun snacks -- Apple Nachos! Super easy to make...simply drizzle some honey and almond butter on apple slices and sprinkle with chopped almonds. Yum!
